Wire Display Division

With the exception of the plastic base, the manufacturing of the entire wire display stands is carried out in the main factory, Unit 9. The investment in top quality wire processing machinery and attention to detail of the factory layout is designed to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the unit.
This in turn translates to excellent response and lead times to the customer.

Machinery installed include
• 3 no Wafios CNC wire forming machines
• BTC 4 headed wire former
• Purpose built DS slide bender
• Thompson and Hudson Wire buffers and nibblers
• Spot welders
• Butt welders
• MIG welding

The 3 dimensional Wafios wire forming machines can be programmed to produce almost any shape in our standard wire gauges from 3mm-8mm.

The commissioning, in January 2009, of a state of the art, purpose built oven to compliment our existing plastic coating/finishing capabilities has increased our capacity whilst actually reducing our “Carbon Footprint”. The reduction has been achieved through computerised control of burners and circulating fans and was a conscious decision by the Directors to do our bit to help the environment.

Sheet Metal Division

The addition during 2008 of the Sheet Metal Division in Unit 13 has bolstered Westminster’s manufacturing capabilities resulting in more flexibility in design and turn around of projects.

Machinery installed include
• CNC Punch Presses for shaping of sheet metal
• CNC Press brakes for forming of sheet metal and mesh
• Rasomax deburring system
• Guillotine
• Spot welders
• MIG and TIG welders
• Addison CNC Twin head tube bender
• Flow drilling

In addition to manufacturing parts incorporated in our stands, the Sheet Metal division carries out manufacture of bespoke fixtures and components for a wide and diverse customer base.

Westminster’s knowledge of most retail shop fitting systems gives the end user the added reassurance that designs used in conjunction with existing fittings will integrate seamlessly.
